Attendance Calculator
An attendance calculator that tells your current attendance percentage and how many more classes you need to attend (or can skip) to maintain a target percentage like 75%.
Current attendance
72%
You need to attend 12 more consecutive classes to reach 75%.
Method
How this calculator works
Attendance percentage divides classes attended by total classes. The classes-needed formula accounts for future total increasing as you attend more.
Current % = (Attended ÷ Total) × 100
Classes to reach target:
x = ⌈(Target × Total − Attended) ÷ (1 − Target)⌉
Classes you can skip (if above target):
y = ⌊(Attended ÷ Target) − Total⌋ - Enter total classes held so far.
- Enter classes you have attended.
- Set your target attendance percentage (usually 75%).
- See your current attendance and whether you are above or below target.
- Get the exact number of classes to attend (or safe to skip).
